ATLAS PRC 40/70
ATLAS PRC is a precured resin coated sand using high quality Northern-White sand substrate. This results in improved strength and conductivity at higher stress than coated lower grade sands. ATLAS "PRC" grade products are designed for closure stress up to 8,000 psi (55 MPa) and temperatures up to at least 500°F (260°C).
ATLAS PRC provides excellent price / performance value, making it an economic alternative to low density ceramics and a robust solution for use in wells where sand cannot provide the strength and conductivity required to optimize production. When even higher performance than that of PRC is required, specify ATLAS PRC™ Premium.
ATLAS PRC proppants utilize advanced resin technologies that provide strength and stability. With a durable outer coating engineered to minimize fines, the PRC proppants exhibit very good resistance to crush at elevated closure stress. This resin system is also fluid compatible and free flowing.
ATLAS PRC is a precured coated material providing high strength and conductivity at a modest cost. For well applications requiring flowback control, specify either ATLAS CRC™ or CRC Premium curable resin coated sands.
