ATLAS PRC Premium 40/70
ATLAS PRC Premium is a resin coated sand using the highest quality Northern White sand substrate. This results in improved strength and conductivity at higher stress than coated lower grade sands. PRC Premium provides superior price / performance value, making it an economic alternative to low and medium density ceramics. PRC Premium products are designed for closure stress up to 10,000 psi (70 MPa) and temperatures up to at least 500°F (260°C).
ATLAS PRC Premium utilizes advanced resin technologies, combining the best properties of precured and partially cured products, generating minimal bond strength with closure stress and temperature to resist proppant flowback. The ability to form a matrix resist embedment, resisting generation of fracture face fines upon closure. It is designed to not generate bond strength absent of confining pressures.
ATLAS PRC Premium has much lower solubility in corrosive oilfield environments than uncoated sand or ceramics. The proprietary new coating process is engineered to resist crush and minimize fines.
